Game Instructions

Each player receives 5 cards and 5 pegs to start. Remaining cards go into a pile in middle of board
KING is used only to get out of START position
ACE can also get you out of start OR holds a space value of 1
JACK used to switch a position with your opponent or with yourself or partner
QUEEN moves 12 holes
THREE moves you back 3 spaces
all other cards space value is the same as the card value

TO START

You need an ACE or a KING to get out of the start position. If you do not have either of these cards, you discard one card and pick up another from the deck always maintaining a 5 card hand. It is now the next players turn.

OBJECT OF GAME

The goal is to get all your pegs into the home position while sending as many of your opponents pegs back to their start position.

Partners: when you or your partner has all 5 pegs in the home position, game continues by using yours or your partners cards until you are both in the home position.

Single: game ends when one person has all their pegs in the home position.

ALTERNATE PLAY:

Each player to receive 5 cards
After everyone has had a play turn, the full deck of cards is reshuffled and everyone is dealt 5 cards again. Continue this process until someone has all 5 pegs in the home position.
